Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia (FM) is a disorder that causes widespread pain and aches throughout the body. People suffering from FM have tender points, which are specific places on the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms, and legs that become painful when pressure is applied to them.

Symptoms: People with fibromyalgia may experience trouble sleeping, headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, sensitivity to temperature, sensitivity to loud noises and bright lights, painful menstrual periods, and cognitive and memory problems.
