Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) describes a combination of physical, emotional, psychological, and mood disturbances that follow a woman’s ovulation and usually terminate with the start of her menstrual flow.
Symptoms: PMS symptoms vary, but the most common physical ones are bloating, weight gain, fatigue, headaches, cramps, food cravings, poor sleep schedule, low sex drive, constipation. The emotional symptoms include anger, anxiety, mood swings, depressed mood, and irritability.
