Asthma

• The swelling and narrowing of the airways, and production of excess mucus is a condition known as asthma. Asthma makes breathing difficult, triggers coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. The potential danger and discomfort of asthma varies from person to person. Some people suffering from asthma lead a largely normal life, while others have difficulty with daily activities and may experience life-threatening asthma attacks.

Symptoms: Asthma symptoms range from minor to severe, depending on the person. These including shortness of breath, chest tightness or pain, trouble sleeping, a whistling or wheezing sound when exhaling.
